I am not black so I must be racist.

I am not gay so I must be a homophobe.

I am an American so I must be a xenophobe.

I am not a female so I must be a male.

I do not have brown eyes so I must have blue eyes.

I am not a democrat so I must be a republican.

If I have blue eyes I must be white.

If I am white then I am privileged.

If I am not young then I must be old.

If I am not liberal then I must be conservative.

I feel much better now that “you” have labeled me.

I am now an old white privileged male who is a racist homophobe and xenophobe who likely flies the confederate flag in fly over country while proudly wearing his red MAGA cap. Likely a fluctuating cow farmer who displays his guns in the window of his gas guzzling oversized pickup truck with an NRA sticker on the bumper.
